Interconnect Devices, Inc. (IDI) is committed to proactively mitigating adverse environmental impacts from its operations.  We operate our company and workplace in a way that reflects this commitment by implementing practices and pursuing projects that responsibly use natural resources, materials and energy without impacting quality or service to our customers.  Key areas of focus include:

1. Providing environmentally sustainable solutions throughout our business processes
   • Strive to be paperless
     • Extensive use of electronic communication (presentations, statements, newsletters, etc.)
     • Minimize hard copy printouts & encourage double-sided printing
     • Encourage use of backside of paper for scratchpad
   • Reduce and reuse packaging material
     • Use recyclable materials
     • Use biodegradable materials
   • Conserving natural resources
     • Use programmable thermostats to regulate climate during off-hours
     • Use Energy Star devices
     • Use efficient lighting
     • Use water resources wisely
     • Encourage employees to choose alternate forms of transport to/from work
     • All used computer equipment is disposed of accordingly for metals and plastic (ABS) recycling
     • All empty photocopier and printer cartridges are returned to our suppliers for refilling
     • Meeting or exceed applicable international, federal, state, & local environmental regulations
     • Properly dispose of hazardous waste
     • Recycle / dispose of adhesives, oils and other chemicals in an environmentally responsible manner
