Battery Contact and/or Interconnect probes are simply an evolution of
the spring contact probes that have been testing printed circuit boards for over 20 years. Six designs are offered in the IDI catalog, with several more described in our special Battery Contact Catalog. A million possibilities are available through customization, including customized tape-and-reel packaging. Synergetix has extensive experience in designing custom connector assemblies incorporating these probes, and can take your design from challenge to solution.
Multiple Cycle, High Reliability Product and Test Connectors
IDI Battery and Connector Contacts allows for a higher and a consistent
spring force that will remain the same from the first cycle to the 500,000th
cycle. They are extremely rugged and compact. And they often have a flange
for PCB mounting via reflow solder process or to insure proper location
for surface mount application.
